With more than a decade of experience writing and editing for the web, Deri is adept at both repurposing existing content and creating new content for cooking websites and e-newsletters. She is well-versed in many different web platforms and a quick study for learning new ones.

Since early 2008, she has been writing and producing the cooking e-newsletter for International Masters Publishers and managing the content of GrandmasKitchen.com. She is also the voice of Grandma Betty, answering all cooking and food questions sent in to Ask Betty.

Deri is also the co-chair of the Website Committee of the New York Women’s Culinary Alliance, responsible for maintaining and updating all the content on the group’s website, www.nywca.org.

Previously, from 2000 to 2008, she wrote, repurposed, and edited seasonal and static articles, created weekly home pages, answered site visitors’ “Ask-the-Chef” questions, edited weekly and monthly e-newsletters, and trouble-shot website functionality for IMP’s previous website, Cooking Village.

Her web career began in 1999 when she was tapped to be the recipe development editor for Molly O’Neill’s website, OneBigTable.com.
